We are rounding off our 50th Birthday celebrations with a Big Night Out at Strathaven Rugby Club on Friday 3rd March. There will be live music for maybe the odd Dashing White Sergeant. There will be entertainment when some of our current members show their musical talent beyond the choral world. There will be a delicious buffet. And a bar.
We are, of course, in touch with all current members and we have contact details for some of our singers who have retired or left but we don’t want to miss anyone out. This sounds like it was a great event. Shame I missed it. I was a member from 1993 to 2010, and on the committee for 10 years. I have fond memories of the two overseas trips – to Haderslev in Demark and Stockholm in Sweden.
