Making Music

Making Music is the UK’s membership organisation for leisure-time music, with over 3,800 groups representing around 220,000 music makers across the UK. It is dedicated to empowering everyone, whatever their background or experience, to come together in their community to make or present their kind of music.

Committee member Linda Menzies  has been our main link with Making Music for more than twenty years.  Linda is well placed to identify opportunities for collaborative projects and joins with reps from choirs and voluntary music making organisations throughout Scotland to organise training sessions and to foster amateur music making through projects and events.
