It’s always a good time to join Strathaven Choral but the best time of all is August when the whole choir returns after our long summer break and we’re ready to start our new programme from scratch.
So on Monday 18th August at 7.30pm in the Strathaven Evangelical Church in Lethame Road, lengthy warm ups should lubricate voices creaking from almost three months without singing before we start to find our way around our new works. This year that will include some Elgar and other non festive pieces for the Christmas Concert . After an hour singing tea break is always welcome and offers time to chat as well as the essential tea, coffee, cold drinks and biscuits and then back to singing until 9.30pm.
