Please meet our Tenor soloist for Mozart Requiem on Saturday 2nd June.

Connor Smith

Connor Smith is a Tenor currently studying singing in his fourth year at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland as an undergraduate. He has worked extensively around the country in choruses and as a soloist with companies including Scottish Opera (Education) the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra, Fox Opera (Docteur Miracle) The About Turn Theatre Company (Orpheus and Eurydice, Edinburgh Fringe 2015) Opera Bohemia (The Pearl Fishers 2017) and most recently, he performed his first significant operatic role in The Magic Flute, as Tamino (Fife Opera). As well as his singing life, he enjoys making music in a teaching position as assistant conductor of Ayr Choral Union. He is also a choral scholar at Wellington Church, Glasgow, where he manages the monthly Concert Series.
After graduating, Connor looks forward to a year out of studying, to travel around Europe.
