Relationships, Risks and Shortbread

Mark G Carroll’s, Strathaven Choral Society’s Adopt a Composer partner, reflections on his experience of the process have been posted on Making Music.

Mark recognises that in ‘Shame, Shame, He Dies for His Country’, he presented us with a challenging piece which did not immediately meet with universal approval. The success of our collaboration, that we worked well together, he believes is due to the relationships built during our year together.  And biscuits!
