It Was A Lover And His Lass

Quite a chunk of our regular Monday rehearsal was devoted to George Shearing’s treatment of Shakespeare’s ‘It Was a Lover and his Lass’.  Some tricky jazz harmonies!  Fortunately our Mike Cunningham has produced some excellent practice tracks.

Members can access these simply by clicking HERE (yes, simply on that word HERE).  Then you’ll be prompted to log in before accessing the page.  Alternatively log in, go to the Members’ Area and select ‘It Was  A Lover And His Lass’  from the menu towards the left of the screen.

Any visitors whose choirs require similar practice should contact us (via a comment below or our contact page) and we can look at what might legally be possible.
